Springhill Catholic Primary School converted to academy status in 2011 and became a company limited by guarantee.  On conversion, the Trust (Sponsor) was The Catholic Academy Trust in Southampton (company registration number 7714121). In March 2017 the trust changed name and became Newman Catholic Academy Trust (retaining the same company number and legal status).

As an Academy, we receive our funding directly from the Education and Skills Funding Agency and our financial year runs from 1st September through to 31st August.
