English Hub Vacancies AY26/27
Springhill English Hub is one of 34 DfE designated English Hubs selected for excellence in the teaching of reading. From September 2026, the English Hubs programme will expand its support across Reception, KS1, KS2 and KS3.
Early Language Literacy Specialist (ELLS) and Literacy Specialist (LS) vacancies
Springhill English Hub is looking to recruit experienced teachers to become Literacy Specialists. This is a middle-leadership opportunity which is focused on improving language, literacy and reading outcomes. We have vacancies across the following key stages: YR, KS1, KS2 and KS3.
Deputy Hub Lead (DHL) vacancies
Springhill English Hub is looking to recruit experienced teachers to become Deputy Hub Leads. This role offers the opportunity to step into leadership, where you be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of one of the English Hub’s core projects. You will engage directly with national priorities, DfE training and the latest research, while shaping practice across a regional network.
You will be supported by the Hub Lead and will work with a collaborative team of literacy specialists working with schools in diverse contexts. We have vacancies across the following key stages: KS1, KS2 and KS3.

To ensure we recruit the best possible specialists, we will carry out a rigorous selection process.
