Woodwind and Brass Day in the company of London Mozart Players at King Edward VI School

Year 6 Non-Fairthorne Activity Week

Day 1

Year 6 pupils who remained in school this week have a busy week ahead.

On Monday their day started with a trip to Southampton Common, taking in the cemetery, play area, jumping the ditch and a game of rounders before heading over to the lake. After that they wandered back to school for a picnic lunch. The children had the opportunity to practise their photography skills, taking photos on iPads.

After lunch, the children enjoyed taking part in a clay workshop and Jack proudly showed off the castle he had made.

All the Fun of the Fayre!

Another successful and very enjoyable summer fete. Thank you to the members of the Parents' Association and other helpers, including staff members and pupils, for all your hard work, and to parents, carers and family and friends for your generosity.

Congratulations and well done to all who took part in the ABP Southampton Half-Marathon and 10km Run on Sunday 24th April.
